Daily Family Devotion
Listen: Now we will turn our focus towards Holy Week hearing stories of Jesus’ final days on earth. Please listen to a reading from “Journey to the Cross” by Helen Haidle called “Sunday O Jerusalem”. This story is from Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-10, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19.
Respond: The people shouted, “Hosanna, Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord with great excitement and honor. Take a couple minutes to listen to this song, “Hosanna - Hillsong lyrics” and think of our Jesus, the same Jesus who walked down the streets of Jerusalem, in this way.
Prayer: Dear Lord, You are Holy. You are in control, and we are so thankful for that. Lord, heal our hearts and make them clean, open up our eyes to the things unseen. Show us how to love like you have loved us. Break ours heart for what breaks yours, we are everything for your kingdom's cause. In Jesus Name, Amen
