ACS is seeking a Covenant Care Aide
After Care
The Covenant Care Aide will assist students in an After Care setting including helping students with homework, maintaining a safe and fun environment and responsibly caring for students of all ages. During Covenant Care students love going outside, playing in the gym and visiting the library.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- Commitment to the mission of Christian education and an in-depth understanding of and commitment to the Reformed tradition of Christianity
- Experience working with children
- Minimum age: 16
Work Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to young children and parents
- Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues
- Professional and effective verbal and listening communication skills
Personal Traits
- Redeemed by Christ and committed to serve Him in all that they do.
- Model Christ and principles of Scripture in:
- Practice of the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
- Demonstrate service to Christ by carrying out responsibilities conscientiously and consistently, with a focus on others rather than self.
- Demonstrate support for the mission, vision and goals of Ada Christian School.
- Agree and adhere to Ada Christian School's Statements of Belief.
- Intentionally seek to apply Reformed Christian perspective to areas of their responsibility.
- In good standing at a Protestant church.
- Willingly follow school policies.
- Demonstrate commitment to ACS by serving on committees as needed.
- Children in grades K-8 attend a Christian school.
Responsibilities:
- The Covenant Care Aide is responsible for supporting a successful program
- She or he will ensure that there is a caring and safe environment for the children
- Follow state codes and regulations
- Perform related duties as required by the Covenant Care Director
Hours of Employment:
- Beginning August 2025
- Monday - Friday, 2:45-5:45pm
