I am a graduate of Millbrook Christian and Grand Rapids Christian High School. I graduated from Calvin College with a BA in Education. I continued my education at Western Michigan University where I earned by MA in Elementary Education. I have taught preschool, first grade and second grade. I have taught in Colorado, Indiana, Ohio and have now come full circle to once again teach in my home state.

My husband Rob and I have three children: Austin, Seth, and Mackenzie. We also have a puppy named Luna. I love to work outdoors, read, spend time at the lake and enjoy unwrapping each new day with my family.

I have always felt God calling me into teaching. I am so glad that I have had the privilege of teaching in Christian Schools for most of my career. It gives me a chance to share the wonder and awe of God with my students and allows me to be a part of their faith journey.
