ACS is seeking an Administrative Assistant

Ada Christian School is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our Administration team. The Administrative Assistant at Ada Christian School serves as a central support to the school’s leadership, staff, board, and families. This role is vital to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective communication, and successful execution of events and programs that embody the school’s mission. The Administrative Assistant balances organizational and communication skills with warmth, discretion, and professionalism to foster a welcoming and efficient environment for the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Office work experience preferred
  • Experience with school databases (Blackbaud, PowerSchool, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with marketing and communication tools (e.g., Constant Contact, Canva, social media platforms, website content management)
  • Familiarity with event coordination and administrative support

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for families and visitors
    • Support school leadership with communications, scheduling, and reporting
    • Manage databases and enrollment processes (Blackbaud, PowerSchool, etc.)
    • Assist with school board and Education Foundation communications and meeting preparation
    • Coordinate logistics and materials for school events and programs
    • Manage vendor accounts, supply orders, and expense reconciliation
