A Note From The Principal
Welcome Back
We are back and hope everyone had a relaxing break celebrating the birth of our Savior and bringing in the new calendar year. We are excited to share a few things of what has been happening here the past couple of weeks and some friendly reminders.
- We are excited to share that we have broken ground on Phase 2 of our Faith Forward Advancement Campaign for the new 7/8th grade classrooms and student center.
- Work continues on phase 1 of our new middle school playground. We are excited to see that completed this month.
- New carpet was put in the gym lobby. Entry hallways and bathrooms were painted over break in anticipation of new carpet being laid throughout the entire school this summer.
A few important safety reminders to you as we approach the winter season.
- Reminder about standard drop off and pick up procedures. When using the loops, please do not get out of your vehicles and be sure your child(ren) exits the right side of the vehicle (sidewalk side, not loop side)
- Please refrain from picking up and dropping off your children at Ada Congregational Church. We have an agreement with the church that only our faculty and staff will utilize their parking lot (with the exception of special events).
We look forward to a great “second half” of the school year with you and your family partnering with you, MIND BODY SOUL in Christian community.
Cheer For Jesus

Still others prefer to have very little to do with sports at all, so why put this in Ada Connection for all families to read? I often think about how excited we get about earthly things, which is totally fine. However, I have been asked before if I get just as excited about spiritual opportunities. My response to how my faith journey has grown over the years has become more external for sure. I am more bold sharing the love of Jesus today than I was a decade ago. That process is a matter of the heart and soul, but does that mean I keep that hidden or quiet? Absolutely not!
I must admit, though, that how I cheer my kids on at their sporting events, or concerts, or shows is different from how I cheer about my Savior.
I leave you with this question: Are you (Am I) as passionate about sharing the love of Jesus as you are about cheering for your favorite team or for a family member?
