There is no greater joy than seeing God’s handiwork in the lives of those around me. I am so excited for the opportunity to be teaching at an amazing Christian school such as Ada Christian! As a teacher, I hope that my students will see Jesus in me and through me as I help the students grow spiritually as well as academically. Being part of a Christian community gives me the opportunity to walk alongside students in their own relationships with the Lord. I hope to model the fruits of the spirit in the classroom and to be an example of a Christian leader to my students. I hope to make a difference in their lives so they have the courage to make a difference in this amazing world that we live in.
I graduated from Calvin University in the spring of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. During my time at Calvin, I taught in classrooms ranging from preschool to 4th grade and worked with children of many different abilities. I look forward to applying what I have learned from my experiences to my own classroom.
I was born and raised in San Diego, California in a Christian home. My three siblings and I attended Christian schools and were part of an amazing church community and a large extended family. I grew up cherishing time with my family and appreciating the Christian family and friends in my life. In my free time I love being outdoors, exercising, sharing coffee with a friend, and volunteering at church.
