A Note From Principal Brower
Day 100
We are 100 days smarter! Yesterday marked 100 days of school and we are extra thankful to be able to celebrate with our students this year!
ArtBox Winner
In December we added the ArtBox to our lobby and students have filled it with tons of beautiful artwork! Before passing these art pieces along to elderly members in our community a winner was selected.
Congratulations to Henley H. for winning the "most cheerful" piece of art! Thank you Henley for bringing joy to an elderly member of our community! As a winner Henley will also have an opportunity to meet the mayor of Grand Rapids.
A special thank you as well to our honorable mentions:
1. Mairin W. Thank you Mairin!
2. Adelle A. Thank you Adelle!
The ArtBox is still in the lobby and ready to be filled with more art. These art pieces will be delivered to area veterans.

Kindergarten Intentions
If you intend to send your child to kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year, please call the office at 616-676-1289 or email Sharon DeJong (gro.naitsirhcada@gnojeds) We need your child’s first, middle and last name, address, email address, parent's name, phone number as well as your child’s birthdate for the list we are building.
We would also like to know if you prefer 5-day or Progressive Kindergarten. Parent preferences vary from year to year. To help us plan for staffing needs, we will cap the list for each option at 22 and then begin to build our 3rd class list. There is a chance that those on the 3rd list may be asked to alter their preference.
For families enrolling their oldest child in kindergarten, another part of the enrollment process is a meeting with Melissa Brower, our principal. This meeting may happen any time before enrollment. If you would like to schedule that meeting, please contact Mark Stuit at 616-676-1289 or gro.naitsirhcada@tiutsm
