What a blessing it is to be teaching here at Ada Christian! I believe that each and every child is an image bearer of God and a vital part of his kingdom. My prayer is that my students learn more about their loving Savior through all of the content areas as well as in our classroom community. Every day I am blown away by the never ending, never giving up love of God. During this formative first grade year my goal is to give my students a firm foundation not only academically but spiritually as well.

I am a graduate of Calvin College with a degree in both Elementary and Special education. I am from right here in Grand Rapids. I went to South Christian high school and then on to Calvin College. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. Over the past few years I have felt God confirm that desire in me as I went during my time at Calvin and throughout my student teaching. It is amazing to look back and see all of the doors he has opened that led me on my path here to Ada Christian. I enjoy reading, camping, drinking coffee, and spending time with family and friends. I am so excited to be teaching here at Ada Christian!
