Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He directs my life.

It is a privilege to teach at Ada Christian School where Christ is at the center of it all. In my own life, I have seen the power of being rooted in God’s love that deepen year after year, many of those roots started for me at Ada Christian School as a child. God is faithful. I am excited to be a part of the 5/6 team and will be teaching Science and Bible this year. I graduated from Calvin College, where I studied Elementary Education, Mathematics and Integrated Sciences. My teaching career began in Indiana before returning to Grand Rapids with my family. My wife, Francesca, and I have been married since 2015 and we have 3 daughters. We serve at Ada Bible Church. We love small family adventures, especially when they are outside exploring God’s creation. When I’m not spending time with my family and chasing after my daughters, I enjoy mountain biking and good coffee.
