I count it all joy to foster the preschoolers’ growth here at ACS, spiritually and academically. It is a privilege to be a part of this experience with them. I fully believe that if a child feels safe and secure in God’s love, they can learn anything. What excites me is when I see children understand God’s love and His Word in new ways that relate to everyday life, and how they act upon these new revelations. The simple things in life can be so powerful! I praise God that we can all continue to grow in Him.

In 1996, I graduated from Central Michigan University with a major in early childhood development and family studies. I student taught in the college preschool there, assisted in a local preschool and also worked at an educational store in town. Then, in 1998, I was fortunate to come on staff at Ada Christian Preschool. God definitely had a plan for me here, and I have seen His hand in everything.

Together, my husband Shawn and I have 2 children, Seth and Susan. Spending time with them brings us great joy. We love to see how Christian education has enriched their lives not only in academics, but also in social settings, emotional events, sports activities and more. Shawn is also a teacher, teaching middle school in Newaygo.
