"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
– Jeremiah 29:11

What a pleasure it is to be one of the new members of the ACS family. It is with an eager attitude and a humbled heart that I enter this new chapter of my teaching career. I am privileged to share with my students how God has and is working in my life. I am looking forward to walking alongside my students as they explore how God uses all situations to grow their relationship and faith in him.

I graduated from Western Michigan University, with my B.A. in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood and 6-8 Language Art, and then continued my education at Utah State University where I studied curriculum design and development. From there I received a Master’s degree from Marygrove University in the Art of Teaching. Over the last thirty years, I have taught preschool through fifth grade, with my last year being a 4th grade teacher in Holt, MI. My husband, Wes and I have a set of 26 year-old twin boys. We have been part of the children’s ministry at our local church in Holt. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, home renovation projects, cooking, and outdoor activities.
