June 03-June 06 Schedule

Monday: On Monday our 8th grade students will be facilitating Field Day with our elementary students in the morning. 8th graders should come to school wearing their class t-shirt and be ready to run around outside. It will be a very fun morning. In the afternoon we will have a speaker or two come and speak with our 8th grade class about some important life skills.

Tuesday: On Tuesday, 8th grade students will spend a good part of their day working on some OE projects, including finishing our legacy project, the Sugar Shack. Students should come dressed to be outside and to work outside. We also have a speaker in the morning as well.

Wednesday: On Wednesday our 8th graders will have their last day of school at ACS…so crazy, sad, and exciting rolled up into one. During our morning together we will be practicing our graduation ceremony. It is encouraged that girls consider bringing their shoes they are planning on wearing for graduation, especially those with a heel, so the can practice walking up some stairs and across the stage in them. Please remember that Wednesday is a half-day only for 8th grade on Wednesday and your student can be picked up at 11:30.  You also may want to come a few minutes early, come inside, and bring your camera as our school says goodbye to our graduating class.

Thursday: No school for the 8th graders on Thursday. Please do come back to school ready for graduation at 6:15pm. We will meet in the South Gym where we will get ready to take our class picture. Graduation ceremony begins at 7:00pm. A little after graduation, students can change and then take the ACS bus over to their graduation party.
