A Note From The Principal
Outdoor Learning

What a tremendous joy it is for me to walk into that discussion and hear some of our 7th graders talk about Jesus.
Earlier today, faculty met for devotions. We sang, “In Christ Alone” together.
As I reflect on both those opportunities, I am humbled by the presence of our Savior, especially after coming off Good Friday and Easter this past weekend!
We serve a risen Savior! Hallelujah!
A Warm Welcome

Hello, my name is Jordan Dyk. I have spent the last two years at Pella Christian in Pella, Iowa. Coming to the Ada community will be a return to West Michigan for my family and I, after spending 11 years in Jenison, MI before our move to Iowa. Along with teaching, I spent the last two years coaching football, and this past season as the varsity girls basketball coach at Pella Christian. Body movement and sport are passions of mine!
My family looks forward to moving back to the Jenison area. My wife Kristin has taught math for the last 14 years. My son Gavin is in second grade and is a sports lover! My daughter Sienna is in Kindergarten and has a flair for life! In Iowa, we are attendees of Oskaloosa 1st CRC. My wife enjoys playing piano, and my children love going to catechism with friends from their school.
In my free time, I enjoy lifting weights, playing golf, as well as anything that has to do with exercise. I was born in Minnesota, so I am a Minnesota sports fan for all sports. You will often find my family and me outdoors playing catch, hitting baseballs, or playing soccer. One of our favorite parts of Michigan is all the hiking trails we can go to and enjoy God's beautiful creation. I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me at Ada Christian.

Now You Know
Faith Forward

- To meet the demands of our growing student support services program, better utilize our existing core facilities and make critical renovations and updates to our existing 20-year-old school building.
- To meet the demands of our current student body and support expected future growth.
- Continue our investment into the endowment for ACS which provides essential support for our school.
- Continue our commitment to reducing the cost of tuition for all ACS families in order to ensure a quality Christian education for those that desire.
- With that said, much prayerful consideration by the Board of Trustees and Administrative Leadership on how to minimize the impact of the current learning environment for our children has been prioritized. During spring break, construction began on what is considered as the “core” of our campus - the library and commons areas to better utilize our space for a new library, renovated commons, and more flexible learning spaces to accommodate growth and support services.
In the Spring of 2022, the BOT approved a master plan and furthermore this particular initiative to accommodate the immediate needs of our students, with the goal of completion by fall of the 2023-2024 academic year.
This is an endeavor that has not been taken lightly. You will be provided an opportunity to participate in this effort in the months ahead, as we continue to equip students for service in God's world for this generation and generations to come.
Under the leadership of the Board of Trustees and our Administration, a Campaign Cabinet will be working diligently to raise the needed funds over the next few months to ensure the continued financial stability and future of our school. We are excited to share this with you as we continue to plan for the future.
In prayer and on behalf of the Board of Trustees,
ACS Administration
