A Note From The Principal
Happy Faces
I absolutely love, love, love the smiles on these students’ faces! Playing outside is an integral part of the development of a child. Fostering relationships and growing their faith all has a part in assisting the child in how they see themselves as image bearers of God.
Someone once said that a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe that is certainly true with this picture. Yet, I also believe this picture produces a feeling of gratefulness and cheerfulness - emotions that for a time seemed to be difficult to attain given the circumstances of our world and the caution we needed to live by.
What a blessing it is to know that no matter what the circumstances are, God is in control and cares for us in a deep and loving way.

Moms In Prayer
For our last meeting this year, all ACS Moms are invited to a sweet time of fellowship (and coffee/hot chocolate/tea!) Thursday, June 2, 8:00-9:00am. We'll take this time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the summer and all that He has for us. SO, if there’s some of you who couldn't join us during the year but have watched us through the Ada Connection, please join us for a time of sharing and encouragement!
If you have any questions, give me a call (Kelly Stafford, 616.304.2963).
Now You Know
Last Gathering Time of the Year
It has been a joy to worship with the elementary students this year and learn how to better stand on God's promises in our life. Want to keep worshiping this summer? Follow our Spotify account and listen to our two playlists! Happy worshipping!
Hot Lunch Changes
Please note the menu change for June 3. Lunch will be: Alfredo pasta, steamed peas, garlic knots and fruit choice.
Starting next school year we will once again be charging for school lunches. Instructions on how to set up accounts as well as the price of lunches will come in your Back-to-School letter in August. For those needing help with the cost you may apply for Free and Reduced Lunch starting August 1st.
We are happy to welcome back the salad bar! In addition to this we will begin to offer two lunch options each day starting in October.
We look forward to continuing to serve your students!
Any questions regarding hot lunch can be directed to Nancy Michaels, gro.scrg@sleahcimn
The May & June menu is here! Take a look at what’s for lunch the rest of the year and plan with your family.

FIRST LEGO League
You’ll love FIRST® LEGO® League! The League members are 4th grade and up that research a real-world problem (like food safety, recycling, energy, etc.). The team will be challenged to develop a solution using new knowledge and creative imagination. The team will also design, build, and program a working robot using a LEGO MINDSTORMS® kit, then complete “missions” on a table-top playing field. Teams compete against each other at exciting events where members will make new friends, show off what they have learned and invented, express team spirit, and celebrate! Sound like fun?
What are you waiting for? Apply to join the ACS FIRST® LEGO® League today!
This club will take place Sept-Dec 2022.
