A Note From The Principal
Preschoolers Finishing Strongly

One question I heard was, “How can we be this old already that our child is going to kindergarten next year?” I smiled at this and also wondered where the years have gone. I commented about them getting “oldER,” not “old.” What great families we have at ACS!
It was just so rewarding to be outside with our families. I consider this to be a very Bright Spot for ACS.
A Warm Welcome
We are happy to welcome Mrs. Huisman to our school this fall working with our inclusion team as a Braille Specialist. Read more about Mrs. Huisman below:
I’m Elizabeth Huisman and I am looking forward to joining the team at Ada Christian! Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I came to Michigan to attend Calvin College, where I graduated with my B.A. in Elementary Education. For the past 22 years I’ve worked in various roles in education; teacher, instructional aide and for the past 13 years as a Braille Specialist.
My husband and I attend Vineyard North church where we are both youth leaders and volunteer in the Children's Ministry. In our spare time we love to hang out with our 4 wonderful grandchildren, travel when possible, and play all sorts of games with family and friends.
This Week
Market Cart

Lost & Found
Please stop by the lost & found in the front lobby this week. As the year winds down there are many items in the lost & found still waiting to be claimed. All items not claimed by the last day of school will be boxed up and donated.
Moms in Prayer
Join us for our last Moms in Prayer on Thursday, May 25 from 8-9am in the back conference room. All are welcome! We'll share a few light refreshments and reflect on God's faithfulness throughout this past year.
Action Needed
Got Shoes? Give Shoes!
Students will soon be cleaning out their lockers. If your child has outgrown their gym shoes this year, please instruct them to place them in a collection box in their hallway when they clean out their locker. Boxes will be placed in each hallway and the front lobby to collect the gym shoes which will then be donated to Baxter Community Center. Thank you.
