A Note From The Principal
Outdoor Challenge
Recently our teachers and staff were challenged to go outside. One specific day, November 2, 2023, was scheduled to be the outdoor challenge to take our indoor learning to our beautiful campus. It was amazing to see students outside enjoying God’s creation!
The extra fun part about that was our OE instructors and administration had our teachers put their name on tickets, then in a bucket, then drawn out in order to give out prizes to them:)!
Extrinsic rewards work well with teachers too!
It was a fun time to celebrate our property, our teachers, our students and our God.
This Week
Veterans Day Chapel
Our all school Veterans Day chapel will be led by the 6th grade and the 78 band on Friday, Nov 10 at 8:15am in the South Gym. Please come and join us as we remember those who gave so much for our country. We understand that our freedom is not free. We would love to have family members come who are veterans or active military so that we can thank you for your service. We encourage everyone to wear their red, white and blue on Friday as we celebrate the service of our veterans.
Moms In Prayer
Join us for Moms in Prayer on Thursday, November 1 from 8:00-9:00am in the back ACS conference room. Our attribute this week is "God is Generous". We will be praying specifically for our 6th graders and their teachers. Contact Kristen Yeh with any questions. Younger siblings are always welcome.

Statements of Belief
We believe that God created the world out of nothing and mankind in His image and upholds all of creation by His power. (Gen. 1-2; John 1:1-13; Gen. 2:20-24; Matt. 19:4-6; Rom. 7:2; Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4)
We are blessed with 36 beautiful acres of Creation at ACS. Our Outdoor Education program is a natural way to teach our students about the created world. A story that beautifully displays this was shared by Hannah Merrill earlier this year. “In OE we focused on God claiming Every Square Inch of His creation with the third graders. Kids made these frames and decorated them with what they found around school. We then used each frame to investigate a small piece of ACS (25 square inches to be exact). Many kids looked at plants and creatures but eventually a lot of them started to look at each other through the frames. We all talked about how we are all so precious to God down to every square inch.”Whatcha Doin' Out There!? - Oct 2023
