Ada Connection

A Note From The Principal

What a Gift!

I didn’t realize how much of a gift this was when I opened it as a 6 year old, but it is one of my earlier memories of awe, “My very own Bible!”

During this lent season, I am reminded of how precious our God is. We give things up for this season and cherish other things.

I have used this Bible for over 40 years. It has become my “school” Bible with notes from various chapels, camps, and presentations. It holds a special place in my heart since my parents blessed me with it and instilled in me the importance of using it.

Today, I find myself using my Bible phone app every morning at home before coming to school, but always have my Bible out on my desk to reference and use when I need it. There is a comfort there, a memory, a gift.

Thank you, dad and mom for the best gift!

Moms In Prayer

This week we’re praying for our  Pre-K, Kindergarten students and their teachers.

God is Supreme --  Highest in rank, power, and authority; superior, highest in degree; utmost

"Christ, may we know that You are the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead, and first in everything." - Colossians 1:18b

We’re a group of Moms passionate about lifting up our kids and ACS faculty and staff in prayer — we pray every Thursday, 8:00-9:00am, in the front office. If you have any questions, give me a call (Kelly, 616.304.2963)

The non-profit provides free bicycle safety flags for kids to attach to their bike so they are more visible while riding.
