Ada Connection

A Note From The Principal

For God So Loved

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! I happened to see this by the copy machine in the office. The first thing I did was take a picture of it, knowing that I would use it to share with our community.

When ACS talks about sharing our faith with our students, we don’t just talk about it. We do it.

It was great to see how Valentine’s Day can be fun at ACS with candy, cards, and kind words, but that it could be taken a step further with God’s love being showered on us through His Son, Jesus Christ!

Now You Know

Whatcha Doin' Out There!?

These months' Outdoor Education recap is here! See what your kids have been up to during Outdoor Education.

Olympic Volunteer Thank You

Dear ACS Winter Olympic Parent Volunteers,

The students and staff of Ada Christian School, thank you for volunteering so generously during the 2022 ACS Winter Olympics. We know your time is valuable, and your willingness to contribute some of that valuable time to helping out with the Winter Olympic events was so appreciated.  Your explanation of the activities, enthusiasm and encouragement were essential in making the Olympic week a rousing success.

A special shout out to Bruce Uekert and Sue Prins  Bruce stepped up to the plate for the second time as our parent-volunteer coordinator. Among other things, he made sure that the necessary pieces of equipment and parent volunteers were in the right place at the right time. Thank you, Mr. Uekert!  Sue was our parent volunteer scheduling expert. She spent many extra hours making sure that each event was covered in addition to running the Mystery Olympic event in the library each day with Mrs. Boerman.  Many thanks, Mrs. Prins!

The Ada Christian School community has always been like family and we are truly blessed by the efforts of volunteers like you who are a vital part of our faith strong community.  Thanks again parent volunteers, and we look forward to our next Winter Olympic celebration in 2026!
