2022 ACS Olympics

For more than 30 years, every time the world has celebrated the Winter Olympics, Ada Christian School has also hosted its own version.

This year, as the world celebrates the Olympics in Beijing, ACS comes alongside and hosts their own.

Grades 1-8 are all split into teams representing different countries of the world and participate in a variety of games and challenges. The games are complete with opening and closing ceremonies and are meant to promote excitement and teamwork throughout the grade levels.

First Interview

Professional news anchors Anita SnowDay and Tony Zamboni were flown in to cover the ACS Olympics. In their first assignment, they interview Nev Eragain and Bobbi Sleigh as long-time ACS Olympic personalities.

Opening Ceremonies

Opening Ceremonies in both gyms was a fantastic event as all the countries came together and did their team cheer and of course, the lighting of the Olympic Flame to officially start the games.

Day 1 Recap

Day 4 Recap

Anita and Tony recap the final day of Olympic activities. Zero the Hero makes an appearance for 100 Day. The band makes an appearance. Olive Snow interviews a couple of countries. Anita and Tony talk too much about what instruments they played in high school.
