"Let me be in this school, even in small ways, a bearer of love and light and reconciliation; which is to say, let me in humility be Your child." (Douglas McKelvey, A Liturgy for Students and Scholars, Every Moment Holy Vol. I.) I am committed to nurturing students in their faith, fostering a love for both music and God's Word, and encouraging them to live out their faith in service to others. Inspired by Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."

I graduated from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) with double emphasis in Voice and Piano. I am passionate about exploring characters and connecting with audiences, and believe in singing roles and repertoire. I also enjoy singing opera, musical theater, liturgical music, and jazz. I am an active musician in the Grand Rapids area,  a regular recitalist, church soloist, and look forward to joining the chorus of Opera Grand Rapids this year. I am also a Voice Instructor at Grand Rapids Voice Collective, and Voice and Piano Instructor at Ada Conservatory of Music. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, baking, reading, and catching up with friends.
