Teaching at Ada Christian gives me the opportunity to guide and lead students to know God through His word and spirit and to look for Him in all things. I strive to use teachable moments in my classroom to convey biblical truths and to help students discover and develop their God-given gifts to be servants in his world.

I graduated from Calvin College in 1975 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I have taught second grade at Northern Michigan Christian in McBain, Michigan, Kindergarten at Oakdale Christian School and Kindergarten, second, third, and fourth grades at Ada Christian School.

My husband Bill and I have two children. We are members of Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church. I enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, watching soccer, playing Dutch Bingo and volunteering at New 2 You.
