Our annual fall gathering is the signature fundraising event for the Ada Christian School Education Foundation, which provides essential support to our school.

A Note From The Principal

Athletic Verse

If you are a new family at ACS, you might not know that this text is our athletic verse. I was standing in the gym after school one day while the coach was sharing this verse with the team. This took place on the first day of practice where the players signed a contract stating that they would represent Christ in any/all ways possible while participating in the sport. Many other things were discussed as well, showing up for practice on time, being an encouraging teammate, finding ways to contribute to the team with the abilities God blessed you with, and understanding that how hard you try in practice does correlate to playing time in the games.

Playing and coaching sports over the years has allowed me to take those same principles to my daily calling as a principal. I wish I could say I do them perfectly, but I don’t. Yet, I am able to listen to concerns and offer advice while praying over the entire situation trusting God for His provisions and guidance.

Moms In Prayer

Join us for Moms in Prayer Thursday, October 27 from 8:00-9:00am in the back ACS conference room. Our attribute this week is "God is our creator." We will be praying specifically for 5th grade staff and students. Contact Kristen Yeh (616-307-2488) with any questions. Younger siblings are always welcome.

Spirit Wear

This Friday students may wear Michigan or Michigan State gear to celebrate the game this weekend. Don't have a favorite team? Wear your ACS spirit wear instead!

Elementary Christmas Program

Thursday, Dec 01 at 6:30pm.

Who: Kindergarten-4th grade students 
What to wear: Please dress in nice Christmas attire.
When: Please have students arrive in their classrooms anywhere from 6:10-6:20pm. You may pick your students up from the same classroom after the concert. *Note - Kindergarteners will be going to their families immediately after their portion of the concert and will be picked up in the Gym

Middle School Christmas Concerts

Please join us on Dec 13 to celebrate Christmas with our ACS Middle School Family.

The Bands, Choirs and Orchestras will play and sing and we will worship Jesus and celebrate Christmas together.

Ski Punch Pass

Cannonsburg Punch Passes are now available for purchase online!  

The current punch pass pricing is good now until Oct 31; after that pricing will go up in November. Six and ten punch passes are available for all students AND parents (six and under ski/board for free). Just follow the easy instructions below to purchase online.

    2. click on teal button on top of page
    3. Right hand side under "products" click on "passes"
    4. Choose the pass (or passes) you need for your family
    5. Be sure to enter in our school (Ada Christian School) and sponsor (Katie Kuiper)

Charleston Wrap - Winners

Our hearts our overflowing with gratitude for your generous support of the PTO! We nearly doubled our fundraising goal, raising close to $19,000 dollars!!! This surplus will help us grant more wish- list items to enhance the learning environment of our school community!
