Perennials For Sale
Our 6th grade helped Mrs. DeGraaf and Mrs. Hoekzema work on some of the perennials in the “V”. We were able to cut back and split a few of the perennials. We have extra that we will not be moving somewhere else on the school grounds. If you would like to add some plants to your garden this fall to be ready next spring, come by and pick up a few plants. The plants are $5 for a one gallon pot. Or 5 plants for $20. Please fill out the attached form and we will get them ready for you to pick up behind school by the hoophouse. It will be first come, first served. Thanks!

Your monthly OE News is out and ready to read.
Moms In Prayer
This week we’re praying for our 3rd graders and their teachers.
Attribute: God is Glorious — One having or deserving glory; famous, beautiful, having splendor, or magnificent
Scripture: "Father, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You will strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith." - Ephesians 3:16-17a
We’re a group of Moms (aunts/grandmas) passionate about lifting up our kids and ACS faculty and staff in prayer. We meet every Thursday morning 8:00-9:00am. Younger siblings are always welcome! This week we’re meeting in Ada Village, Legacy Park, across from the Zeytin Restaurant. It’s probably the last beautiful morning we’ll enjoy before we go inside! Come join us for the journey when you can.

PTO Happenings
Charleston Wrap
One of our most important fundraisers of the year, Charleston Wrap, is beginning soon. Many great gifts, including home goods, sweet treats and the popular “reversible” gift wrap are available. It’s shopping made easy that also supports our school.
Each student will bring home a Charleston Wrap packet this Friday, Oct 16. Online shopping is also available for friends and family who are near and far. Check out the online store.
It is our goal to raise $25/student for our fall fundraiser. We understand that some families are happy to donate money in lieu of selling products. Please feel free to return the order sheet with your donation if this applies to you
Recess Coverage
The PTO would like to continue to support our teachers as they spend extra time after school meeting with us. Please sign up for a time to cover recess duty. Times are listed by when grades are out. We are trying to cover K-8!
School Party – Oct 21
Wed, Oct 21 at 10:00am*(please note the time change) at Heidi's Farm Stand - 11999 Cascade Rd Lowell
In prior years, the time frame has been 1-3pm due to the availability of attractions. This year, we have the opportunity to be more flexible. Many littles are napping in the afternoons, so this gives everyone a chance to head on over mid-morning instead!
If you are planning on 1:00, by all means still come at that time. Depending on the weather it may be a bit warmer in the afternoon!
Freshly baked doughnuts and crisp apple cider. Locally grown farm fresh produce, bright pumpkins and bushels of apples!
Are you up for the challenge of the corn maze?! Enjoy the fall scenery of never-ending corn with your younger ones....or send the older ones out to explore on their own for a few minutes (or hours) of peace and quiet.
Or simply come to enjoy the beautiful fall weather with friends and let your kiddos play on the giant slide and run around for free!
Corn maze: $6 for adults and $4.50 for kids (ages 3-13).
