If 95% of our families complete and return the postcards by this Friday, Mrs. DeKoster and I will work from the roof for a day. In addition to a postcard for you, we have included two more — hoping you may invite grandparents to partner with us!

Returned grandparent postcards count as “extra credit” towards the 95% participation goal.

Elementary families have a scheduled conference times (88 KB PDF) with their homeroom teacher.

Parents of students in middle school will have the opportunity to visit with each of their student’s teachers in the commons. No sign up is necessary for Middle School.

Conferences with our “Specials” Teachers

Mr. Wanner (K-8 Art) and Mrs. Van Noord (5-8 band/choir) will be here both nights.

Oct 15 only: Mrs. VandenBosch (K-4 Music), Mrs. Kladder (5-8 Orchestra) and Ms. Prins (5-8 P.E.)

Oct 20 only: Mrs. DeKleine (K-4 P.E.) and Mrs. Boerman (K-8 Library/Media)

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found tables are located near the kitchen and music rooms at ACS. The items on the tables will be cleared off on Wednesday, Oct 21. While you are here for parent teacher conferences please check the tables for any of your child’s missing items.

Be at the Fair or Be Square

The Scholastic Book Fair will be returning to ACS on Tuesday afternoon, Oct 20 from 4:30-7:00pm. This is a great opportunity to load up on books before the break. Following the Teacher’s Convention, the Book Fair will run Monday through Friday October 26-30 (7:40-4:00pm). Watch for a flyer coming home with your child.

Moms in Prayer

Please join us Thursday 8:00-9:00am in the office conference room as we pray for our children, their teachers and the ACS community. This week we will be praying specifically for 2nd Grade as we remember that God is Wise.

Cost: Adults $5, kids (3-15) $3.50. Bring extra money if you want to enjoy a donut and cider or buy a pumpkin!! Tell them you are from Ada Christian to get the group rate!
