Ski Club Sign Up

Our ski club will be held on TUESDAYS in Jan and Feb after school until 8:00pm. Carpooling from ACS to Cannonsburg is possible, but you will need to pick up your child from Cannonsburg. You must supervise your younger children.

• 6 years old and under get their lift tickets free.
• Deadline is this Friday, Nov 20. After that time you will need to go through Cannonsburg.
• All the prices are on the registration form (244 KB PDF). Checks should be payable to "Cannonsburg Ski Area" and sent to the ACS office with the form.
• Sign up now for your ski passes and save money – 50% off the regular price.
• Card holders may use their passes anytime, any day during the 2015-2016 ski season, including weekends.

Christmas Shop Needs Your Help!

• Our 3rd Annual ACS Christmas Shop will be Dec 10 and 11.
• We need a few more helpers to set up, work registers, wrap gifts, and help the students select their gifts for their parents and siblings.  
• A note will be sent home with your children with all the details after Thanksgiving break.
• To volunteer for this fun event, go to www.adachristian.org/volunteer. Thanks to the many parents who have already signed up!
• Last year, gift cards to local businesses sold well. If you have or know of any business willing to donate gift cards for $10 or less, please let Brecken Grieve know (moc.liamg@eveirgnekcerb).

Daddy Daughter Dance

Mark your calendar for the 2nd annual Daddy Daughter Dance. This year’s dance will be on Friday, Feb 5. There will be more details to follow.

Moms in Prayer – Praying for 6th grade, Foundation Dinner

Please join us Thursday 8:00-9:00am in the office conference room as we pray for our children, their teachers and the ACS community. This week we will be praying specifically for 6th grade and the Foundation Dinner as we remember that God is our counselor.

• Please turn in your child's fall athletic uniform. Uniforms may be turned in to the front office, or to Carly Prins during PE class.
• The 5th and 6th grade basketball season is off to a great start. As soon as we receive game schedules we will pass them along to you. The 7th and 8th grade season will begin the week of Nov 30.
• Sports Physicals: If your son/daughter is playing winter basketball sports physicals must be turned in before the first day of practice.

Science Equipment is needed for the first and only science lab in Kabala, Sierra Leone at Kabala Christian School. Jan Carpenter is selling art in the front lobby of ACS Dec 01-07 to benefit Kabala Christian School. 100% of the sale of Jan Carpenter's art goes to support Kabala. These paintings make great Christmas gifts.
