This Week
Moms In Prayer
This week we’re praying for our 6th graders and their teachers.
Attribute: God Guards — One who protects from harm or danger, keeps watch over, and keeps secure
"God, I pray that we would not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to You. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
We’re a group of Moms (aunts/grandmas) passionate about lifting up our kids and ACS faculty and staff in prayer. We meet every Thursday morning 8:00-9:00am. Younger siblings are always welcome! This week we’re meeting at my house (Kelly Stafford, 2595 Lansdowne, NE, Ada, near the corner of Knapp & Pettis — two-story red brick, 2nd house on the left). Come join us for the journey when you can.
MENistry
Come join other ACS dads at 8:00am on Friday mornings at Nona's Trattoria on the back deck. We are reading The Man in the Mirror.
Now You Know
Daily Student Symptom Screener
Thank you for continuing to screen your children each morning for symptoms of COVID 19 prior to sending them off at school. The daily reminder email with the student screener link is sent out each morning at 6:01am. The link is the same each day if you wish to bookmark it for easier access.
School Lunch and Daily Snack - Free
We are happy to share with you that in addition to free school lunch this year, your student may also get a snack each day at no cost. Each day teachers will have enough snacks available for any student who would like one. Elementary snacks will be delivered to classrooms prior to morning snack break. Middle School snacks will be available in homeroom classes during lunch. Here is the lunch and snack menu.
Gather, Give & Grow

Gather, Give & Grow for a Faith. Strong. Future. is this year’s Ada Christian School Education Foundation (ACSEF) fundraising event. Although we aren’t gathering in person for our traditional annual dinner, hope you have enjoyed the inspirational video messages from our special guests, Matt Scogin, President of Hope College, and WOODTV8’s Maranda as well as the testimonials from some of our families. On behalf of the ACSEF Board of Directors, thank you in advance for your consideration and for your faithful and continuous support as we try and reach our goal $200,000 for the endowment.
Special update:
Thanks to the generosity of Ray & Jeannine Lanning, Stephen Klotz Family Foundation and an Anonymous donor the next 50K pledged or donated will be matched dollar for dollar.
Make your pledge or donate now.
ACS Book Fair

The library has set up a display of some of the books that are available at the fairs. Your child may have come home with a list of books that interest him/her. You are under no obligation to purchase anything, but if you do 25%-40% of the proceeds help the ACS library. This is a great opportunity to buy gifts for the readers in your life. Go ahead and take a look! Here are the links.
