Fun in the Snow

Recently, I was able to go outside to cover for someone that couldn’t be on duty. It was one of those days (yesterday) where it was cold and wet/dreary. As an adult, it might have been a day where I could have pouted about covering this duty. As soon as I saw the kids playing in the snow, making snow people and rolling snowballs into large mulch marshmallows, how could I even think about pouting or having a “woe is me” attitude? 

Look at the smile on this little guy’s face! They say a picture is worth one thousand words. I say this picture is worth the warmth of sunshine causing me to smile as well. Maybe you love winter; maybe you don’t. No matter what your preference might be, know that God makes all the days and they are exactly how He chooses to design them. The same is true for our students; everyone of them created in His image for a specific purpose!

Moms In Prayer

Christmas At ACS

Celebrate the Christmas season with us at Ada Christian School. 

LEGO League

The ACS FIRST Lego League Team will be competing in a regional competition on Saturday, November 19 at Grandville High School. The competition will include 24 Lego Challenge teams from around Michigan. The 2022 FIRST Lego League theme is SuperPowered which means the robot challenges and the team project have focused on issues surrounding energy production, distribution and conservation. There are 2 teams representing Ada Christian School this year: The Energy Experts and Short Circuits.

Elementary Christmas Program

Thursday, Dec 01 at 6:30pm.

Who: Kindergarten-4th grade students 
What to wear: Please dress in nice Christmas attire.
When: Please have students arrive in their classrooms anywhere from 6:10-6:20pm. You may pick your students up from the same classroom after the concert. *Note - Kindergarteners will be going to their families immediately after their portion of the concert and will be picked up in the Gym

Middle School Christmas Concerts

Please join us on Dec 13 to celebrate Christmas with our ACS Middle School Family.

The Bands, Choirs and Orchestras will play and sing and we will worship Jesus and celebrate Christmas together.

5th & 6th - Concert at 6:30pm
7th & 8th - Concert at 7:30pm

Ski Punch Pass

It's not too late to get your punch passes or season passes for Cannonsburg! 

Go online and purchase what you need for your family.  Six and ten punch passes are available for all students AND parents (six and under ski/board for free). Just follow the easy instructions below to purchase online.
    1. Go to Cannonsburg.com

    2. click on teal button on top of page

    3. Right hand side under "products" click on "passes"

    4. Choose the pass (or passes) you need for your family

    5. Be sure to enter in our school (Ada Christian School) and sponsor (Katie Kuiper)

ACS Athletics

PurePlay (Y5’s - 4th grade) 

Basketball signups are open now. Deadline is Friday Nov 20.

1st-4th grade combines with GRCES and involves clinics with high school players and team play.  

Y5/K is only ACS students hosted by Coach DK.
