A Note From The Principal
Wonderful & Beautiful Handiwork
Oh, how wonderful and beautiful the handiwork of our God is! I walked out of the gym entrance to see one of our staff members pausing by the flagpole to take a picture. I asked what she noticed and she mentioned how the sunrise was hitting the school right where the Ada Christian School words were.I walked to the flagpole and snapped the same picture. I don’t know if this picture actually does it justice for what we both saw the morning of 11-10-21, but it was breathtaking.
It reminded me again that this school belongs to God. He knows the plans he has for us and we need to remain faithful to Him just as He is to us.

Moms In Prayer
This week we’re praying for our 4th grade teachers and students.
God reigns — One who exercises sovereign power; rules.
Scripture: "God, may we be like the beautiful messenger who brings good news of peace and salvation, the news that You, the God of Israel, reigns." - Isaiah 52:7
We’re a group of Moms passionate about lifting up our kids and ACS faculty and staff in prayer — we pray every Thursday, 8-9am, in the front office conference room. Siblings always welcome. If you have any questions, give me a call (Kelly Stafford, 616.304.2963)

LEGO League
The ACS FIRST Lego League Team will be competing in a regional competition on Saturday, Nov 20 at Grandville High School. The competition will include 32 Lego Challenge teams from around Michigan. The 2021 FIRST Lego League theme is Cargo Connect which means the robot challenges and the team project have focused on issues surrounding the supply chain. The team chose the name, "Loading..." since their project is based on addressing sizing issues with cargo containers.
The team consists of 2 fourth graders, 3 fifth graders, 3 sixth graders as well as 3 mentors from 7th and 8th grade. The coaches would like to recognize the hard work that the team has been investing in building robots, writing code and preparing the project. Ms. Frens would like to thank Mr. Ray Jorgensen and Mrs. Sandy Lineberry for their dedication as coaches!
Lost & Found
Lost and found items are on display in the lobby, please come in and take a look. Items not claimed by next week will be boxed up and donated.
Gather Give Grow - Time to Plant
For those who attended the annual fundraiser this fall:
The trees are glowing in color and the morning ground is glistening in an opulent white - the time is finally here!
Plant your bulbs now for beautiful late spring blooms. They will thrive in full sun to full shade. Dig: 6-8" deep (3-6" in clay soil), 4-6" apart.
Set: The bulb pointy end up
Cover: With loose soil
Water: To get a strong start
Gather...your bulbs together.
Give...them a good home.
Grow...as a reminder when they come up in the spring that the Lord always keeps his promises and is faithful in all He does.
Planning will begin soon for the 2022 Foundation Fundraiser. Interested in being part of the planning committee? Contact Mark Stuit (gro.naitsirhcada@tiutsm)
