A Note From the Principal
Reformation Day

Yet, I do believe that Ada Christian’s founding fathers and mothers had a very specific reason for starting this school; to teach Christ.
In later years, mission statements and visions were created to help the leadership maintain a clear path. Our mission at ACS is to equip students for service in God’s world by integrating academic excellence with a distinctively Christian perspective. We strive to do that every day by casting our vision of developing the whole child - mind, body and soul in Christian community - inspiring students to become all they were created to be as Christian agents of change in their families, communities, and the world.
This is a tall order, one that we take seriously and one that calls us to humility and excellence all at the same time!
This Week
Moms In Prayer
This week we’re praying for our 3rd grade teachers and students.
God is my Provider — One who provides; furnishes or supplies what is needed
"My God, I pray that You will meet all our needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19
We’re a group of Moms passionate about lifting up our kids and ACS faculty and staff in prayer — we pray every Thursday, 8-9am, in the front office conference room. Siblings always welcome. If you have any questions, give me a call (Kelly Stafford, 616.304.2963)

Class Composite Orders
You may now place an order for class composites online There will be no paper order forms going home this year.
A class composite is an 8x10 photo which includes a picture of the teacher, aides (if any), and each student in the classroom. Names are listed under each photo. The titles in the middle show the classroom name, teacher name, name of the school, and school year.
Orders are due Nov 12.

Book Fair Thank You
Thank you. Thank you! Thank you! The ACS Book Fair was a huge success. So many students and families purchased books both in school and online that the library earned almost $2,000. The money will be used to purchase new books for our collection. We are so grateful for your amazing support. FYI, we will be having an online only book fair in the spring with Junior Library Guild.
