Spelling Bee
Twenty-four students competed on January 10, 2023, to see who would come out the victor and the runner-up. I was proud to get my picture taken with our two finalists and hand them an award for their accomplishment.
God blesses each of us with various talents/gifts. How impressive is it that our students that did not participate listened quietly and also applauded at the appropriate times. Some of our students even made signs!
I am thankful that ACS is able to offer so many opportunities for our students.

Moms In Prayer
Moms in Prayer will resume again on Thursday, January 12 from 8:00-9:00am in the back conference room. We will gather for refreshments and a fellowship time to kick-off the new year. 2023-2024 Important Enrollment Information
Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe that we are already thinking about the 2023-2024 school year. With that said, we have some important enrollment details for you. Below you will find information regarding both preschool and K-8 enrollment.
Preschool Enrollment is now open for CURRENT ACS Families. All preschool-7th grade families received an email with a link to enroll for preschool on January 10. Open preschool enrollment will begin on January 16. We anticipate classes to fill up very quickly so you are encouraged to enroll prior to January 16. If you have questions about preschool options or enrollment information please contact gro.naitsirhcada@yelmroGJ.
K-8 Enrollment opens this year on February 14, 2023. On this date all current K-8 ACS families will receive a link to enroll for the 2023-2024 school year. All families who have completed their application and tour/interview with Principal Sall will also receive the link to enroll.

Who? Parents, students, and anyone in the community
Bring? Money to purchase bracelets, slime, stress balls, home decor, baked goods, jolly pops, and much more! Prices range from $0.25 - $10. Cash or check written out to Ada Christian School are accepted.
S.E.E.D. stands for: Service Entrepreneurship Education and Design
The 5th and 6th graders have spent time learning about the needs of others in our local and global community. The SEED market offers 5th & 6th graders at Ada Christian an opportunity to create, make, and market a product while understanding the importance and power of micro-financing - something that is an essential aspect to non-profits all around the world. All proceeds from the market will benefit Mission India and World Vision.

Action Needed
Parent Teacher Conferences
Conferences are scheduled for Feb 14 & 15. We encourage all parents to make it a top priority to attend these conferences. Conferences for grades Kindergarten through 4th grade will be scheduled in 15-minute increments.
We ask that K-4 families fill out the scheduling form before Wed Jan 25.
5th-8th grade conferences are open 3-minute time slots to speak to all of your child’s teachers in the commons. If you would prefer a 15-minute conference with one or more middle school teachers, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher to schedule.
