A Note From The Principal

A Night to Remember

This night is a night to remember! Many of you recognize this part of the elementary concert from April 19. The audience was asked to shine their phone lights during one of the songs. I heard someone else say it was like being at a live concert for a professional artist, only there was no fee to enter!

Later, a faculty member shared some perspective during a faculty devotion time to remind us that Jesus is the light and we need to walk in that light. The program was so good because it felt personal, it felt real, it allowed for the Spirit of God to move, which the Spirit certainly did move!

While the program was a wonderful experience, one that will likely be talked about for quite some time due to how well it was written, how well it was directed, how well it was acted out and sung; it is also a reflection of who we are at Ada Christian School. We are Faith. Strong. We do educate our children’s mind, body, and soul in Christian community. We know we aren’t perfect. We know we make mistakes. However, the more we seek Christ, the more we see Christ.

We must keep all of what we think, say, and do under the scope of it being under God’s rule/reign. Ada Christian doesn’t exist because of any person, but only by the grace and love of God.

Welcome Baby Reidsma

Introducing Judah Dale Reidsma! He made his arrival last Friday. All praise and thanks to our God for our little man. Thank you for your prayers!

-Mrs. Reidsma

Moms In Prayer

This week we’re praying for our 4th graders and their teachers.

God is Understanding — One who has empathetic or tolerant recognition of somebody else’s nature or situation

Scripture: "God, may You fill us with the knowledge of Your will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives." - Colossians 1:9b

We’re a group of Moms passionate about lifting up our kids and ACS faculty and staff in prayer — we pray every Thursday, 8:00-9:00am, in the front office. If you have any questions, give me a call (Kelly, 616.304.2963)
