Workstations in the computer lab are used with educational software to increase the students' ability to access and use information, participate in problem solving, and communicate with products. Students and teachers also use laptop computers in a wireless setting to enhance classroom learning. The Technology Coordinator assists teachers in helping students use the technology effectively.
All technology use is integrated with learning in other subject areas. Computers are used as tools for gathering accurate information, organizing and analyzing information, and evaluating information in connection with current studies. Computers are also used as tools for organizing student thinking and preparing communication of information through reports and PowerPoint presentations.
