Professional Biography: 

I graduated from Calvin College with a degree in K-12 physical education, and MSU with a Masters in Educational Administration. Prior to my work in Athletics at ACS, I was a middle school teacher for 9 years, served on the board and various committees here at Ada Christian, and was instrumental in starting the PurePlay Program.

Personal Biography: 

I am married to Duke, with 4 children. In our spare time we like to golf, travel and spend time with family.

Faith Statement: 

I believe that God causes all things to work together for our good if we love him. Christian Education provides a unique venue for us to help students learn that God works through both the good and the bad to help us grow closer to Him. Athletics in a Christian setting offers us a great way to help students see that we learn from our wins and also our losses. We need to continue to encourage our students to see physical activity as a gift from God to be celebrated, and used to the best of one’s ability.
