I am so thankful to be able to work at a Christian school. I have enjoyed watching young Christian minds grow in knowledge, maturity and love for our Lord. I base much of my educational career on Ecclesiastes 3 and James 1:17. I have tried to show all my students that all of their gifts are wonderful and each gift is special in its own way.

I have taught middle school and coached for many years at Sylvan, Zeeland and Moline Christian schools. I have had may different roles and different opportunities in 6th-8th grade at these schools and have enjoyed the open doors God has led me through.

I am married to my wonderful wife Deb and we have two children together. We attend Ridgepoint Community Church. I enjoy traveling with her to places like the Smoky Mountains and to Glen Lake in Michigan. I enjoy watching sports, the outdoors, and fixing our old dairy barn. God is good, everyday.
