A favorite quote of mine says, "It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not." As a teacher and a believer in Christ, I am called to encourage students to be all that God created them to be. I want to instill in each of my students that they are a unique creation of Him and that He has a purpose for who they are. They should never let anyone or anything hold them back!

I was born and raised in Angola, Indiana before moving to Indianapolis for college. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 2017 and have spent the last 5 years teaching at an Indianapolis school. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 5 years. This summer, he and I moved to Ada to be closer to my sister and her family. We had visited many times and fallen in love with the beauty of the area. Through many prayers, we felt God lead us to plant our roots here and are excited to see what He has in store!

In my spare time, I love to be outdoors enjoying what God has created by taking my dog on daily walks, reading a book in the sunshine, and relaxing. I also love to bake, cook, and craft. One of my favorite things to do is try new recipes to share with my friends and family.
