Professional Biography:
I graduated from Calvin College in 1981 with a B.A. in Elementary Education, Fine Arts group major. I have been at Ada Christian School since 1982 teaching Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and now 1st grade. I have served on curriculum committees for Bible and Social Studies, as well as the school’s Long Range Planning Committee.
Personal Biography:
My husband Bob and I blended our families nine years ago. Together we have six children; three are married and three are in college. We thoroughly enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren.
Our church home is Beckwith Hills CRC. When my children were young, I taught in our Worship Center program. Currently I serve on the Visual Arts Committee and am director of Jr. Choir.
Faith Statement:
Each student is a covenant child, uniquely blessed in the eyes of our Lord. Christian parents have entrusted their children to my care each day. This is a wonderful privilege and an awesome responsibility. In partnership with parents, we begin a journey of exploring and experiencing God’s plan for our year together.
