Becky Witte
After graduation from Calvin College, I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to teach at Lake Worth Christian School. I taught 6th grade Science and Social Studies there for 3 years. I returned to West Michigan in 2002 to teach at ACS. 5th grade at ACS has been my home for the past 7 years. (not including the 2009-2010 school year) I received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University in 2005. I love teaching 5th graders! They are a great mix of independence, curiosity, and excitement and truly show the joy of Jesus.
I am married to Henry Witte (6th grade teacher) and we have two incredible, very busy boys. We attend Madison Square CRC. We are involved with a small group as well as other various activities. In my spare time (besides teaching and being a mom ) I enjoy being with friends, running, reading, cooking, and trying out my “green thumb” as a novice gardener. On Saturdays I love to poke around the farmer’s market buying way too much produce and looking for handmade crafts.

I love Jesus! My hope is that this shows in my daily life. What an incredible opportunity to teach at a Christian school! I am blessed to share my faith, not only in Bible class, but in the day-to-day interactions with students. They, in turn, share Jesus’ love with me. Our faith is integrated into all aspects of school which, in turn, reflects in our own lives. I love God’s word and my hope is that in 5th grade and throughout ACS that the students will become more familiar with his word and understanding his word better.
