I am very excited to be teaching at Ada Christian surrounded with Christ-like examples. I hope that my students are able to see Jesus in me and through me as I teach both academic content, but also help them grow spiritually. As a teacher, I strive to help my students be followers and examples of Christ to others. I hope that I make a difference in their lives so that they can be the best Christ-like examples to the world. I also love exploring God's creation through learning and teaching my students more about it and the world we live in.

I graduated from Calvin University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I then taught 2nd grade at a Christian school in Illinois, since then I have moved back to West Michigan where I am very excited to be teaching at Ada Christian.

Growing up in Christian home and school environment helped me learn and know that I wanted to be a Christian example in my students lives. When I am not teaching, I love to be with my friends and family. I also love spending time outdoors especially in the summer, going hiking, boating and enjoying the weather!
