Application Procedure

Step One: Getting to know Ada Christian School

We invite you to come and explore the benefits of an education at Ada Christian School. It would be a pleasure to show you the facility, and to answer questions that arise as you investigate ACS. Our Principal and staff are available to discuss the educational goals that you have for your children. Please call the school office at 676-1289 to inquire about an upcoming Open House, to arrange a school visit or to make an appointment with the principal.

Step Two: Submitting the Application

Complete an application form and submit it to the school office at the following address.

Step Three: Interview

Upon receipt of your application, our office will schedule an interview with both parents (if possible) and our principal.

Step Four: Enrollment

When admission is confirmed, you will receive an enrollment form and information regarding the use of FACTS Tuition Management online. Submitting the completed enrollment form along with a $200 deposit to the school office and then registering online with FACTS indicates your intent to enroll your children at Ada Christian. The deposit will apply towards tuition but will not be refunded should you decide not to send your children.

Enrollment Tuition/Fees

Tuition rates for the 2014-2015 school year are:

3-Day Kindergarten $5,145
5-Day Kindergarten or Grades 1-8 $6,860

If more than one child from a family attends grades 1-8, the second tuition is at a 5% reduction, and the third or more is at a 10% reduction.

Financial Aid

Tuition assistance is available to families meeting the income criteria. If families belong to a church that assists their families with the cost of Christian education, the family is required to apply at their church. If that option is unavailable, they may pick up a FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment packet in the school office and follow the instructions in it to apply for aid. Income guidelines state that you may apply for financial aid if your tuition is greater than a certain percentage of your adjusted gross income. That means for one child in Christian school your tuition shouldn't be greater than 10% of your adjusted gross income. For two or more children in Christian school tuition shouldn't be greater than 12% of your AGI.

The difference between tuition and the full cost of education at Ada Christian School in the 2014/2015 school year will be on average $1,290 for each full time student. This cost difference is met through generous donations from ACS families, friends and the ACS Education Foundation.

Column 2: Full amount it costs to educate each student at ACS.

Column 3: Required minimum tuition by each family not receiving assistance. Amount reflects only 90% of total cost to educate each child. The remaning 10% is covered by generous donations and by the ACS Education foundation.
