Jim Hapner

I am a native of West Michigan graduating from South Christian High School and Spring Arbor University. After marrying my wife, Emily, we moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where we lived for 7 years. During my time in Raleigh, I served as a cross-categorical resource teacher in the special education setting. I have been working at Ada Christian School since we moved back to West Michigan in 2014. Since moving back to Michigan, I have also earned a Master’s Degree in School Administration through Eastern Michigan University.

I consider it a privilege to work at a school in which faith is an intricate part of each and every day. My enjoyment in teaching comes from the true joy that I see in the faces of the students that I interact with on a daily basis. God has created us all with unique gifts and talents and I have the privilege of helping students discover those gifts and talents in new and exciting ways.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children, playing games and being outside. I also enjoy reading good books and anything that involves a little friendly competition.
