ACS is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Tuition Management Specialist
The Accounts Receivable and Tuition Management Specialist carries out all aspects of the Accounts receivable cycle, including ensuring the security and proper documentation of incoming funds, aids families with billing, manages the collection process, and works to support the day to day Finance office as needed. This position would be approximately 16 hours per week. Pay depends on the experience of the applicant.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Preferred
- Commitment to the mission of Christian education and an in-depth understanding of and commitment to the Reformed tradition of Christianity.
- Minimum of 2 years administration support experience ; non-profit and accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency using basic and various accounting and payroll software, including but not limited to Excel, Google Documents, Quickbooks, and Blackbaud.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts Receivable process including but not limited to:
- Ensuring that all cash, check, credit card payments are received securely, processed & prepared for deposit.
- Prepare, manage, and enter all tuition, discounts and incidental fee invoices and apply payments.
- Collaborate with other departments and staff to collect rosters and list of fees for students and families.
- Post donations through the accounting and ensure transactions accurately reconcile with the donor management system.
- Process monthly Before and After Care billing.
- Provide reception support in the finance office, including phones, and receiving/distribution of mail as needed.
- Assist Accounting manager with office record keeping, reporting & other administrative tasks as necessary.
Evaluation:
- 90 day review by Principal
- Evaluated once a year for the first three years of employment and once every three years following.
