Construction has begun on the 18,000 sq. ft. addition to ACS. The addition will provide a new gymnasium with full performance stage, additional meeting and conference rooms in the office, guest restrooms, and added storage.

The current gym schedule exceeds 100% capacity during the school day and several periods have two classes in the gym at a time; kindergarten has only one period a week, pre-school has no gym time. The new gym will allow more time for PE classes as well as more flexibility with special event days.

The new gymnasium will also feature a built-in stage which will provide a better learning and performance environment for students participating in the performing arts. The stage will allow band, choral and theater productions to setup without conflict with the gym floor.
