Throughout the year Ada Christian School offers events that enhance the gifts of the students in the areas of music, drama, sports, and academics.
Extracurricular programs include:
- Dessert Theater
- Science Olympiad: Ada Christian School participates in Science Olympiad. Students in grades 6-8 can join the team, which practices Tuesday evenings from January – March. The Science Olympiad competition is on a Saturday in late March.
- Spelling and Geography Bees
- Solo and Ensemble Events
- Young Authors Festival
- Ski Club
- Fine Arts Night
- Student Council
Social events are organized to enrich our sense of community:
- Skating Parties
- Swimming Parties
- Grandfriends Day
- Winter Carnival
- Participation in the Ada Christmas Parade
- Whitecaps baseball game outing
- Skiing
Ada Christian participates in the Grand Rapids Area Christian Middle School Athletic League and plays teams from the ten schools in that league.
- Interscholastic athletics are offered in the 7th and 8th grades include: soccer, football, cross country, basketball, wrestling (boys only), volleyball (girls only), softball, baseball, track, golf, swimming, and tennis.
- Intramurals take place during noon hours. Student teams compete against each other.
