Professional Biography:
As a 1969 Calvin College graduate, I majored in elementary education, with an emphasis on Language Arts. My first teaching position was in a Kindergarten Follow-Through program at Campau Park Elementary School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After this, I spent several years at home with my children, during which time I was involved in various areas of children’s ministry in our churches. In 2000, I began teaching preschool at Ada Christian School, which has been a privilege.
Personal Biography:
My husband Joel and I have been blessed with 3 daughters-and their husbands-and now 6½ grandchildren! Spending time with them is my greatest joy. Our church for almost 18 years has been Ridgewood CRC in Jenison, Michigan, where my husband serves as pastor.
Faith Statement:
I have been blessed to teach these precious 4-year-olds as they grow and learn, especially in Jesus Christ. They love to explore and are so eager to find out more about God’s wonderful world! I am thankful to help them in their discovery.
